Big Sister Morgan and Baby Samantha

Morgan: Our "Ariel Princess" is now in the Beginner’s Plus Swim Class.
This is the third swim level and is working on swimming independently for 5 yards,
taking breaths, increasing endurance and learning new strokes such as backstroke
and freestyle. She had difficulty adjusting to being in the deep end of the pool,
but is now swimming “like a mermaid” and is doing very well.
Morgan has a new fairy friend named “Harry” and carries her everywhere. Harry
is about an inch tall and seems to get lost often. Morgan’s fascination with Mickey
and Friends grows daily. Her favorite TV shows are Little Bill and Miss Spider.
She’s currently in Pre-school and enjoys it very much. She’s actively learning and
making new friends. We practice our Spanish throughout the day and she can
understand it well. Speaking it takes some coaxing.

Samantha: Our little one is growing up and is now 1.5 years old. Sam is
learning words, but has “Mama”, “Dada” and the universal “Ah” for everything else
down solid. She began to walk at 10 ½ months and now climbs up and down
stairs on her own and standing up. No crawling for this little one. Sam understands
Spanish and will hopefully begin speaking it fluently right along with English.
She loves her big sister, admires her and learns a lot from Morgan. She is a deep
thinker, analyzer, and is very assertive. You know what she wants even without
words. She’s always looking to learn and be involved. She goes to bed on her own &
in her bed. Her favorite T.V. shows are the Backyardigans and Little Bill.
She’s a social butterfly amongst her friends. She's cooperative during brushing, flossing and while getting dressed. She’s pretty quick about putting on everyone else's shoes except her own. We hope to have her potty trained by 2 ½ so that she can go to pre-school with Morgan in September of 2009.

"Tony": Tony is enjoying the student life . . . late nights, final exams and
endless cups of coffee as he completes his Bachelor's Degree. Tony is currently
working as Director of IT Infrastructure with a national shipping company. He enjoys
woodworking, travel and simply getting some ZZZs.
